I felt fine when I woke up today, thankfully. I had quite a scare when I turned on the computer and saw a whole page of r's where my blog should have been. But the blog was still there above the r's fortunately. Killer margaritas for sure. I'll make a mental note of their power.
My weather check still shows Sunday as a good Lake Erie travel day. Fingers crossed that that does not change. Sunday also looks good for a Lake Stupid (St Clair) crossing.
Today was the day we planned to wash Annie. Since I was all caught up with my activities by 8:00 I decided to wash the boat. Kerry had offered to help but I figured she would be happy if I did it while she slept. After I started I saw her up in the pilot house. I figured she wanted to help and would be appreciative that I was going to spare her that task. So, she opens the door and says" Do you know how annoying you are?" I guess it's hard to sleep when someone is washing the boat above you. But she did come out and help. She did succumb to temptation though when she came up behind me with a hose in her hand while I was on my hands and knees scrubbing. My butt was just to tempting apparently. Then she quickly warned me that I best not retaliate. And I didn't.

Today was our shopping day too. We walked to CVS for some shampoo and then stopped at the Salvation Army family store. We found a set of four of the cutest little Pepsi glasses there. Kerry has a set of glasses similar to them, but bigger, at home.
After lunch we hit the Antique Mall Store and the hardware store. We found a See No Evil Monkey bank for Cousin Marty at the Mall. He collects See No Evil Monkeys. I bought 2' of black no slip tape at the hardware store. Annie has these strips outside the pilot house doors and one is in need of replacement.

Two brief comments about docking here this visit. First, the water is back to normal levels so I don't have to worry about Annie's side getting stuck under the dock post as I did last time. And secondly, I finally got to use a heavy duty chafe protector that I have carried on Annie forever but never ever used before. I could not get myself to take it out of my locker. Now I know why!

I treated the Princess to a dinner out for the second night in a row. This time it was at Pompeii's, an Italian restaurant. Marianna recommended this restaurant based upon comments from a friend. It was very good. Kerry had spaghetti and I had eggplant parmesan. The dinner came with bread, dipping oil and salad. The parmesan cheese was freshly grated. We had plenty leftover for lunch tomorrow. Their Chianti wine was far less deadly than Senor Tequila's margaritas.

I hit 12,740 steps today, the most in a very long time. We were very pleased when we stepped on Annie, after coming back from dinner, with how clean she was. We watched a Netflix movie about this gullible woman who loved Ted Bundy. We stayed up to 9:30, the latest for me in quite awhile.
