It was a very quiet night. I'm not sure the boat moved at all. I had an 83 sleep score I think it's noisier in my bed at home. I lay there thinking I hope Kerry feels better this morning. I also lay there hoping there were not 10,000,000 bugs on Annie this morning.
So, the first thing I did today, before coffee, before the battery check, before the blog post was to look out and count bugs. I only counted 5,000,000 today. Better, but about 4,999,975 more than I hoped. I resigned myself to hose duty again this morning. It's not fun, but it's better than sharing the boat with bugs all day. It's part of anchoring I guess. Once they are gone, they are gone for the day.

Bugs, Bugs! |
Kerry said she felt better today than yesterday. Yea! Her stomach hurt just a little in one spot compared to all over yesterday. She did say she wanted to do a morning dinghy ride. Oh. I'll need to get the bugs off the dinghy too. Then I'll have to bail it out. Sounds like the captain has a big work schedule ahead of him.
Kerry felt well enough for a dinghy ride this morning. We toured the shore near Annie, then motored dup to see the Orro's. They were cleaning bugs off too. We chatted for awhile then agreed it was another fishing day. We went back to Annie for toast and tea first.
Peter picked me up shortly after breakfast. We fished for 1 1/2 hours and caught zip. Not even a bite. Often we could see the fish eyeing our lures but refusing to bite. Peter said he wish he knew what they wanted. We both agreed we knew what they did not want. Too bad we didn't have a big ol' worm.
I had the remaining ribs for lunch. Kerry only had strawberry shortcake that she fixed for us. She is definitely taking it easy on her stomach. We leisurely passed a pleasant, but hot afternoon. I loaded some photos for the next photo contest, this one where the judges have to identify galley items submitted by the four of us. Two sailboats came in this afternoon.
Jimbo sent me a great picture he would like to enter into a photo contest. It is very good.

Great photo, Jimbo. Good job! |
At 5:00 we met for cocktails in our dinghys. I took gin, Kerry took tea and water. We met Peter and Marianna north of a sailboat anchored near us. Peter was a little late because his motor would not immediately start. We drifted for a long time and had a wonderful cocktail hour rafted together. We made plans for an 6:00 AM departure from this anchorage.
When it was time to split Peter's motor became an issue again. It would not run. Bad gas is the diagnosis. So, our little electric motor towed us to Voyager where we left them securely tied up. We motored back to Annie and still had 50% battery capacity left. Elon would be proud. I'll charge up when we are docked tomorrow in Gore Bay.
